Dr. Alyson Childers was born and raised in a small town in North Alabama. She attended Auburn
University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Microbial, Molecular, and Cellular biology
in 2015. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University School
of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies in 2020. After completing her clinical rotations
at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, she decided to remain in Texas and begin her
career at AEHM. In her spare time, Dr. Childers enjoys Muay Tai kickboxing, drawing, and
traveling the world. Her professional interests include infectious disease, diagnostic imaging,
cytology, and surgery. She has a Yellow Lab, Carter, and a Maine Coon mix, Mufasa.
